As for the drop in price, that happens all the time when people bid high just to see the reserve, then cancel their bids. Against eBay rules, but not usually enforced.

Someone ran up the bidding to see the reserve, then they retracted their bids. It's back down to $2800 or so. There's some funny business going on there.

I don't like the vinyl top either, but that is one clean Datsun.

It just happens to be the best color for a Coupe!

Problem with this car is the dealer option side molding that's been drilled and rivited about 30 times per side.

No matter, who ever pays this much money for a car is probably going to frankenstein it into a drag car anyway.

I'm not keen on the vinyl top, but think it would make a nice convertible.

It's at $4k right now, and the reserve has been met. There are still over 7 days to go. It's a beautiful unmolested vehicle, and I bet the bidding gets up quite high.

Ideal buyer: Datsun enthusiast with proper storage that would bring it out to meets and what not and just drive it occasionally to keep everything from drying up and/or rotting away.

My guess is the reserve is 5K.
