I'm Sel, I am 34 years young....

Let's see, had a couple of SR311 Fairlady's, (one a SR20DET), a 200B, Two R32 GTR's, (one a genuine V spec), then came one mortgage, then another, so along came the 1200 coupe (downsizing). Other Nissan affiliations, my old man has a SVO ??? R31 GTS, red one, he also has a Sillhouette (sp?), I had numerous VL Turbo/Calais's, even a twin turbo RB30 commodore (hey at least it had a Nissan motor in it), so probably over 50 cars, in the last 17 years that I have been in this wonderful country!

im 18 and have had the trusty 120Y sedan for my entire life.

it was my mums first car and has been since 1976. It still runs as good as it did when new and can outdrag a skyline and a vy commodore at the lights....trust me, my mum did it....lol

i'm hoping to get my own 120Y soon...as my mum is getting sick of me asking to do hers up...lol

Hi I am 23
and I bought my first datto off my brother, and have never looked back, as they are a fun car to drive and easy to work on, and the motors are bulletproof.
I have owned 7 120y's throughout my driving years.
2 sedans and 5 coupes/hatchbacks:

2 coupes used for parts.
1 very rusty sedan used as engine donor.
1 auto sedan used as a daily driver, (sold some months after I bought it).
3 coupes that I still own now.

So therefore I have been well and truly bitten by the datto bug and haven't found an antidote.
GO THE DATTO!

40 next month
first car was a mini 76 clubman a great car for a senior at high school , had some fun in that
then some 6's , a v8 , turbo calias , 1600 ,280zx , a heap of 1200 in diff shapes , now sunny's (b310) always seem to have a 1200 as a second car doesn't matter what else I had . I say second but really it is first choice , seem to do more miles in them then the others

well, i'm a lazy 24 and have only ever had datto's registered in my name. started with a 1600, had a couple since and still have one very long winded project. have had a few other cars, including a couple of 67 Mustangs (never registered). oh, and of course the Dat1200 wagon CA18det

they really have taught me so much about cars! first the starter motor died, then the altenator, then the motor was replaced......

I'm 42 , way back in 1983 a friend had this hideous little car , a LB110 coupe , he was driving while recovering from divorce. By 1985 he bought a new car and wanted to sell that awful LB110 , so a motorcycle racer buddy in need of a cheap car bought it. Well we quickly discoverd it wasn't the LB110 econobox it was a beloved Datsun 1200 and 1200's are a blast to drive. We flogged it down gravel roads and took a couple of road trips with it and realized you couldn't kill that car.
1989 I ran at an autocross and won my class with it. Right after that we decided to race it and 16 years later I still have the car known as the Pokey. It was even pictured in Road & Track once. Now when I take it to track days students who ride in the car just love it. Also the couple of my fellow racers who have driven it rave about the handling......of course I was not true to the car , when I had the wazoo fast sports racer I sold the car. As soon as I got the chance I bought it back. The car is part of the family now so it will never leave , my son who is 11 and Autocrosses a Kart is looking forward to us sharing the car at Vintage weekends. I've raced or autocrossed Formula Vee, Formula Ford, D-sports Racer Mazda MX5 Miata , RX7 , B210 , 510 , 240Z and 280Z but the 1200 is really the most fun car ever.

I'm at 28 right now - feeling old. Starting messing with Datsuns about 5 years ago but for some reason I still don't actually have one on the road. In that time I've only driven a Dat for about 6 or 7 months. Started with 240Z's and right now still have one stripped down waiting for time and money that it may never really get. I loved my '79 210 for the few months I got to drive it before I blew the head gasket which led me into a full rebuild. I'm really looking forward to driving it again - within a few months I hope!!!

I'm 28. I also have a passion for Mopars, but dattos go around corners better. And use MUCH less fuel.
