So who is going to throw up a meeting date. As I have said before due to my work commitments I wont be able to make it to all the meetings. So does anyone want to put forward a date?

I will say Oct the 2nd (first Sunday I have off in a while). But if thats to far away have a meeting before then. I suggest meeting in Launceston.

I know its abit of travelling for the South and the North West people. But once we get a few more members then we can have some area meetings and we can all travel to each others area once or twice a year. I also hope that we can get a Car show or event like that happening.

Good idea Troy, the wagon should be up and running for hopefully the LAST time by then

Oh and has anyone seen Tim arouind latley? After the Targa incident i havent seen his ute or himself on the site for ages!

on another note i've been in contact with the Nissan Datsun Sports Owners Club and been talking about the tassie targa tour 06 (feb next year) and got some info if anyones interested..
heres the email...

Gday Tom,
good to hear from you guys in Tassie. Mate what is your postal address? I want to send you our latest club magazine.
Glad you are interested in joining our Tassie Tour in Feb. The requirements are that you:
a/ drive a Nissan or Datsun
b/ be a member of NDSOC or the Sydney Zed Car Club. (I actually didn't know that a Tassie club existed???)
c/ pay a $50 Entry Fee to NDSOC, per person.

It is only $45 to join our club until the end of 2005. We already have around 15 members in Tassie!! So if you guys join, you will all be able to stay in contact via our club website and email groups, so you can go on drives together etc.
The Manager of Shannon's Insurance in Hobart is Rodney Belbin. He owns a zed and is a member of the club. He organises our SHOW n SHINE in Hobart on Sunday 12th Feb.

Yeah Tom i got in contact with Matt Freeman and he sent me the newsletter, its really good! Glossy pics and a great article on circuit driving techniques good/bad ways to drive...

I will DEFINATLEY be going on the Tassie Targa tour, it will be great fun - im thinking a 5 speed conversion before it tho! 4th gear at 110 consistently could be bad on fuel & the drone of my exhaust at about 3800 rpm!!

I'll see you guys at inveresk on the 2nd of October then! Oh and NickZ even if it isnt EFI'd, bring the manifold down! Would be great to check out the handywork of a fellow Datsun owner...

prbably no value to anyone but im gettin new tyres for my car on fri, 205/60/13 nice huh 95 bucks f&b from speedys, no nankengs in the country sucks huh have to wait till fri :(

Good to see so many replies already. I would love to say that I could do the tour in the Cherry but thats just not going to happen. So Oct the 2nd at Noon at Inveresk. sounds good Now all we need is for a few South and North West people to come along.

Its going to be a great sunny Day on the 2nd so of course Nismo will bring along his green Coupe.

I have posted up on a few of the other Datto sites. Dont forget to tell your friends or just any other datto owners you see in the street. Doesnt matter if its a clunker or a show car turn and up and show what you got.
