My sunny got up to 160km on the way to Collingrove, and ive had a gemini up to about 220. The needle was pointing back around to zero

My b20 did 160km/h on the trailer on the way home.( even though the trailer only said 80 max )
Apart from that 240 on the back of my mates gsx-r, 200 riding it myself, could be more if we could be bothered going to a highway and i had a licence.

fastest i've driven is 145km/h in my b310 with stock vanette A15 with auto trans....would've been more if i didn't pull off the freeway....and 80 mph in my uncles 93 accord
fastest i've ever been driven....125mph in my boy's 96 maxima

Highest speed achived during a rally was 102 Mph, 164 Kph.

To set the stage it was 2:00am in the morning on a 2 lane gravel logging road running down a ridge top in the Olympic peninsula. The dato was at 8000 rpm in 4th gear and I was chicken to go for 5th!

This was back in 1986, and still puts a big grin on my face!

I think the fastest I have been was in an auscar around calder a few years back (passenger)...Had numerous fast runs around Symmons with various drivers.....
The most fun I ever had was a tyre testing day with Ed Orydynski before Southern Safari.....

If you had seen some of the things I have you would never speed again...

theres a time and place for speeding i agree, more often at the track than on the road. and yeah as mentioned be very maticulous on tires, wheel balance, brakes suspension ect ect. im not worried about myself right but others on the road are vulnerable to our actions - therefore find a dead road by your self.

Here in NZ its piss easy to find a quiet straight, that said I think Oz would be the same.
Here Ive hit the limiter in a friends 850Ci Beemer.
Easiest car ever to V-max.
155Mph - 250kph.
Trick is to be sensible,
Everyone understands real speed is lethal, check your tyres, brakes, steering arms....... ####e go to town.
Make sure all is good.
