Stolen from another site, that stole it from another site.

Some cool old school cars.

These are the only 1200s there...
But there are heaps of other cool cars there as well. Have a look.

Link would probably be a problem for 56K users...

Original thread is here, but we have no Moderators to merge threads, so who really cares?

Holy cow! You'd think those vwvortex forum members would sell their German junk by the way their gushing about old school Jap cars.

There were about 6 1200's there ( or 1200 style's b210-210,etc..)
---
Why can't the datsun community have more love for the 210's? Maybe our time will come.

That's not the same red truck from South America that matbighat reported on is it? If so, it looks like some body work and paint has spiffed it up.

I'd bet it's from Okinawa... ex-G.I. brought it back possibly?

It's hard to tell, but i thought it looked like it is left drive. I think i can just make out a steering wheel on the left side of the car. Was Okinawa still left drive in the early '70's?

Hmmm , 20 years ago when a friend bought our 1200 from a High School buddy it was just an old Japo-crap wagon in the eyes of most car people.........and now whenever I tow the car to the track I get at least two people at the track or on the way who say "cool a Datsun 1200 we/I/friend had one of those"
Amazing how times change so I suspect in time the B210/120Y will get it's due.....they were raced heavily as well.
I'm still taken a back as when I first raced the car in 89 it was still just an old car then.
Now I am jealous of how clean those 1200's are , mine looks good from 5-10ft but up close well it's a race car.

Actually from Central America, and yes it is the same guy. The watanabes and fender mirrors are a nice addition, but Lord knows why he painted his beat up hood flat black.
