You haven't mentioned what the engine will be used for! I would hope it is a race engine (not for street use) with a cam that big. Thats a 320 degree duration cam and will only provide a benefit over smaller cams when the engine is reving 5000ish rpm upwards. If you shifting gears at 6000rpm for instance, you would be much quicker with a smaller cam.

You must set up your compression ratio. You mentioned you have shaved your head to the max. Have you cc'd the chambers ??

Twin dellortos with 32mm chokes should be good for only 6000ish rpm max. Thats perfect for a hot street motor and will give resonable low end performance.

You can bore most blocks safely to 78mm (expect if the block has heavy corrosion) and there are plenty pistons to suit.

HP??? Need more info....

alrighty, i need good HP from my lil A series. i have talked about it many times b4 but i need to refine what im doing.

i have a A14 Block(i have to use a A14 block)

GX Head shaved to da max which has been fitted with A14 inlet & exhaust valves but im going bigger again (is that the right thing to do?)with better springs also what size are stock inlet & exhaust ports on gx heads cause i dont think my are standard

A15 Crank

Lighten flywheel

big cam (aparently i should use a 54/86 cam)

Twin 40mm delorto's with 32mm chokes

extractors

i will be boring the Block but how much can i go without thinning my bores too much? i will be using standard oversize pistons

i will also balance the bottom end
what sorts HP will i be reaching?
