Were'nt your car in the Speed and Sound a few months back?
I think it was the yellow sedan with a A14.
Ceramic coted pistons and cylinder head combustion chambers? Compression is 13 to 1 as far as I can remember.

I also think you do not have to waste your time to upgrade your datsun, it is very impressive as it is.
When we have drags in Bloemfontein again I will let you know. One guy I know is a VERY big Opel fan.
He has a 2litre 16 valve opel with a Ts turbo on it.
He ran 15 seconds. He said there is no way a 1400 can run that 1/4 times. I told him that it was in the Speed and Sound but he said there is no way a non turbo 1400 will beat him.
I did'nt argue any further.

Our drags are at the moment illegal. It was canceled due to complains about noise and stuff as the drags were held at the old Brandkop racetrack that was closed in the late 70's due to residential areas getting too close.

There is rumors that a dragrace track is going to be build for us. Will first see if it will happen.
My car is at the moment stock standard A12GX.
I actually use it for car shows and not drag racing. I am planning to hot up the A12 motor to get better performance.
I would like to put in a A14 with my GX head to make a hot street car.
But that is later.
At the moment it is just turning heads due to its looks.

Fastest 4 cylinder NA car in bloem is 14,4 seconds. It's a citi golf.
With your Datsun you will beat guys in Bloem that have turbos.
That is what I want to see.
