H165B Type I (to 6/79): 3.545, 3.7, 3.9, 4.111, 4.375, 4.625, 4.875

H165B Type II (from 7/79): 3.364, 3.545, 3.7, 3.9, 4.111, 4.375, 4.625, 4.875
available from production vehicles: 3.7, 3.9, 4.111 & 4.875

You can get 4.1:1 and 4.875:1 ratios quite easy, it is the same diff that Bluebirds (rwd Maxima) and C20 (Datsun Vanette) -- some with aluminum centers -- and some 4wd Datsun Pickup (non-1200 ute) front diffs (those are wider assemblies, though, so just use the center section). For example:
A10 Stanza/HL510 (1978-1982): 3.7:1
180B (610) wagon: 3.89:1
Series 1 Bluebirds (810): 3.89:1
Series 3 Bluebird wagon (910): 3.89:1

Thats from the tech section... there is also a refernce for the cars in detail on there.

So what power can these LSD unit handle?...

The H165 is the most used diff (from 1200utes) as there the strongest, and used in alot of race apllication 1200s and 1000s. Also in most 1200 street cars.

So these units go straight in no problems?

$800 is alot cheaper than Nismo and others i have head. So with pics and some other info, would be very keen. Guess need to find enough customers.

P.s .jpg is used on this site for pictures i think. Can send them to one of the members they could get them up, they also need to be under 100kb file size and no bigger than 1024x1024

Thanks phunk, for some reason the photos arent working on my computer either, it worked initially, Ill have a look at it now. Without sounding stupid the photos are inserted using the "IMG" icon??

I made the LSD to suit the std 1000 housing which is a H145 if im correct?? I can make them to suit what ever diff is more popular, I would prefer to only make one type though as there is A LOT of work in making them, wether it be H145,H150 or H165, unless there is a big demand for all the types?? I would say that they would be around $800

Im building a 1000 2dr sedan with a turboA15 for circuit sprints. Im assuming the H165 would be best, but can I get a housing that fits straight into the 1000 springs without having to chop and shorten the diff?? Im big on bolt ins! I fitted a 200B motor with twin webbers and a five speed in a 1200 coupe about 10years ago after someone told me "there a straight bolt in" let me tell you, THERE NOT!

Seems my little car has picked up over 3 seconds a lap from doing some minor suspension tuning (and removing 37kg of rubble from the sills) and we can make it alot faster still without touching the driveline.
However.... I would like to put some decent horsepower into it and this means upgrading the diff as I am already stretching the alloy 1000 carrier with the HP I have.
So I'd be looking to fit a larger diff to take the expected extra HP (possible SR20) and we'd like to go LSD.
So let us know what carriers your going to make them fit and I might be able to adapt that housing to the car

Oh and a price

Cheers
Neil

If you can't post the pics, feel free to email them to me and I'll post 'em and add them to this thread.

Oh yeah, I'm interested too by the way.
