14psi? I didnt know that but does it really matter as this unit is built to be like a carburettor with more precise fuel metering controlled by the throttle inbuilt lanbda oxygen sensor? A Delco would be the better solution but I still feel the Ford computer could be reprogrammed with a piggyback or tossed in favour of a suzuki or honda unit as found in 90-96 model barinas, swifts and civics.
As for Dale and his ICQ number is 71622239 from Sydney ,Australia

dont waste your time with the ford ecu, ever driven a EA falcon?? that should be enough to turn you off using the ecu!! LOL

If we can get it running on a wreckers ECU it would be ideal.

If anyone wants specific questions please state them in order and Ill pm them directly to them. (be specific as I dont want to waste their time)

Sounds like you need to research the way this efi works. Your understanding of this setup, makes it seem like a Youbute setup. If there was ANY efi setup that works so fantastically like that - why dont car companies use it on all cars. Why dont all modified cars run this efi program if is self learning enough to simply start any engine and self tune to be stoichiometric.
** Look Out all Dyno Tuners - Ford has just put you out of Business**

D maybe ask the guys what they did to make their engines run. Fitting the throttle body is the easy part.

DD you might find the following pics interesting.

This seems pretty close to self learning? dunno much about it though

Self learning to the extent of being a bit better than the base map (for chosen engine) of which most aftermarket computers come with at purchase. Take note that all installs still require/required further manual tuning to obtain optimum performance.
Ultimately its still no better than the factory ford ecu is if replacement injectors cant be found and the injector pulse cant be reduced efficiently enough. Untill the injector part of this setup is researched, everything else could be in vain.

Only one way to find out.

Ill go and study the Ford world dominating CFI system further.
Ill ask these guys if this thing is overfuelling but in the meantime where did you get the ford info as I want to check the suzuki and honda injectors to see what cc they spoof or any other info on duty cycle and psi.
I still believe the CFI throttle could be a cheap alternative with a reprogrammed delco using a reputable Delco authorised Kalmaker software (cfi unit, lines, pump and delco unit 100 dollars). Mike (rally1200) who tuned your hankook fryer?

Pics come from tune up manual - most mechanics will have the same one. It wont tell the info that you require.

Might end up being just that with a little research. But I predict $100 is a big ask.

So far $15 for the unit and wiring loom.
Computer $20-30.
Will let you know the rest soon when I get it.

I have no doubt you can get most of the required parts within that budget, as you can buy complete EB's with 12 months rego for $100.
Making it all work nicely on an Aseries is the big ask for $100

100 bucks all up to make it work no no no I wish. maybe 200-300 in tuning also and another 200 in fitment unless I do it myself.

D today I mate told me of a 1200 ute recently built by an exhaust shop his workshop uses. The exhaust shop is up this way in Castle Hill Sydney and they built this ute for a customer. A15 turbo blowing through the ford throttle body injection with original ford injectors.
They are running fuel only computer. Staged to run one injector only and then boost triggering the second injector.
He was told its running 20psi boost and the injectors are easily handleing 25psi fuel pressure and they were tested up to 30psi with no problems.
Its said to chop the workshops v6 holden ute no worries.
Hopefully the owner will come online and share some info on how it all runs.
