I'm a panel beater by trade, so i watch and pick up a few things from the painters. Also done lots of cars started when i was 15, painted my first at 16. You learn alot by giving it a go!

any questions just ask.

Im thinking about sticking with acrylic due to the fact that ive done alot of work on the car so far using arylic primers, putty etc. Lots of rubbing and buffing to do afterwards though. Im just worried ill go to all this effort to have my 2pac crack due to an acrylic base. Is this the wisest decision? I dont know. I dont mind the extra work to have some piece of mind.

oan878- what's the go with polishing 2 pac paint. there are a few spots on my paint job where there are a few bits of dust and crap in the paintwork I was wondering if I can get some 1200 wet and dry onto them and then a cut & polish to dify things back up. Will this work ok or will it leave patches that oxidise quickly?
