"Everyone else" besides madtimo is an exaggeration, but I don't think the post gained the credibility it needed until kkrutch's reply, not only because kkrutch is an automotive journalist but because he seems to know more about the car than minnesh.

actually, I was speaking to a bloke at work who races mitsubishi sigma/astron 2.4L 4 cylinder engines with 13.5:1 compression ratio and serious head and cam modifications, he has to run a holley 650 carb for racr regulations (he runs modified 4cyl sedans in speedway racing) he was telling me with anything past 12.5:1 compression ratio he has to run methanol fuel perhaps because they tune their engines for peak power and max advance? I don't know what mineshes A series is capable of without seeing solid proof but one thing is certain..... it is one hell of a street datsun

with no disrespect time slip....... ill do better send me your postal adress and ill send u a dvd of that days racing as a christmas gift the reason every one else nows this car is because it kicks ass without turbo or gas about the compression ratio sorry mate thats our secret and the reason for asking for advise on carb setting / we dont know it all so taking advise from other fellow racers would not hurt my ego so send me your postal adress minnesh
