ive been searching for info on a ca conversion for my ute and found that you can mod the cross member i would like to know what area
are you from and how much if you have the time or if you would be able to pass on the dimensions and material thicknesses
any help would be greatly appreciated

Mate go see Kev Rowley he is down your way over southside. He does CA conversions. I thinks his cross members are about $600 or so. Get hold of 1200u. Kev Rowley helped him with his conversion. He will be able to get you in contact.

Andew can do you a crossmember for about $240 (exchange your old one) and he can make you up a gearbox one cheap as well.

No offence to Kev but andrew's prices are MUCH cheaper, alot of what Kev does can be done by anyone you just need to get a wiring diagram.

cheers freak i met a guy through a friend that seen kev and he got his cross member and even a print out of everything needed for the conversion ive been hounding my mate to get in contact with his friend but that was a while ago and still zip

cheers damo thats sounding better what area does andrew live? but i was hopeing for the measurements cos they look easy to make (without fitting the motor in position) but thats still cheaper than my mates friends price

in fact rallyuted I should have my coupe at south rochedale on the weekend of the brissy cruise!! (9th of december) so I won't be too far from where you live.

thanks for your support damo ill more than likely be in touch (a fair bit) when i go through with it. the brissy cruise sounds good but my ute is in pieces waiting for better wether 2 paint(dam i hate long working hours) but i would like to meet up and get some 1200 inspiration

You can get the Full kit or just the Crossmember

There is also modified transmission tunnels on the way.
