sorry i was just misled by the word cathode, last time i seen somthing with it it had a glass tube and jolts of electricity, just thort it was somthing different

like every other electritian i know, you take 10 years explaining what the answer isnt rather than simply saying what it is, like you could of said, when i mention earlier, ' a cathode is an electrode' (becoz i know what they are), yet you rambled on about all this other junk

p.s love the sarcasim, its just as humouring as your atempts to belittle me

Only difference is a joe cell is basic. Both use 2 dissimilar metals and an electrolyte.

Surely you did something similar to this experiment in primary school. Either way, that page should help you understand how the joe cell works.

Is that not enough info?
Its funny that you actually belittle yourself.
So hows your v8 dissy going? Oh thats right, you can make this fantastic ignition setup and know how it runs before it runs but you cant sit down and work out why your engine wont start and how the carbie operates.

Please tell me that you are going to put a heap of arc welding electrodes in a tin of water and connect a battery to it in your attempt to make a Joe Cell.

PS dont forget to connect theJoe Cell gas pipe to the inlet preheat on the exhaust manifold.

Please

Electritian. lol

A cathode is an electrode, but it's a SPECIFIC electrode.
It's the negative terminal of an electroplating cell or the positive terminal of a storage battery from which positively charged electric current leaves.

Aren't dictionaries fun.

For all or any of you guys who are seriously interested in this, ITS NOT REAL!

Its a crackpot idea dressed up as science to fool the gullible, these ideas have been getting around for nearly as long as they have been making cars.

Thirty years ago it was Browns gas, you could generate it yourself run your car on it and the only by product was water.

If these things worked we would be driving them already.

Has anybody actually built one of these? I would love to see if it actually does anything.

I put a battery on charge once, does that count?

I keep here people talk about hydrogen power & saying the only emissions are water vapour. I'm no good at science but won't 50% or more of the worlds cars emitting water vapour, eventually cause environmental problems. Can someone tell me what could/will happen?

Producing hydrogen takes more water than it releases.
Unleaded cars today release water.
