1978 Datsun 1200 Ute
A12 Motor with extractors, 4 Speed, New Carpet, Lowering blocks, 11.5 months rego, cd player tinted windows. front tyres 95% tread, rear tyres around 85%..

Parts not in the car.
Another Dash, Stanza struts with hd shocks and lowered springs( they were meant to go in this weekend!)

Front end damage.. I hit a big round pole, I have been told it is repairable as the support frame the gaurds bolt to has been bent forward from the strut towers. I can't fix as I dont have the time or know how.. The engine does still start, though I only started it for a second as i fear there is little oil in there..

The wheels still point in the right direction and the car still rolls and steers fine (apart from some tyres rubbing on bent gaurds..)

I dont really know how much it is worth in its current form but with those stanza struts, and the 11.5 months rego I think around $1700. If I cash in the rego then $1300.

sorry bout the tragedy (cant spell that) just finished fixin mine except a tree got in the way when i was sideways, the feelin sux hard.

Why is it that people who can't drive, feel an overwhelming need to prove it, and damage or destroy a perfectly good Datsun in the process.?
Never could figure that one out.
