Nice gear yes, but doesn't it strike you as being very expensive? Considering the calipers would cost about $250 ea and the discs about $125 ea?

Those particular Calipers are a lot more expensive than $250 each. I looked in to them atthe beginning of the year.... more like $500-$600 each AUD

Yeah the billet ones are more expensive, I was looking into a wilwood setup but just the sand-cast versions. I can get the whole setup for 280zx struts inc. pads/discs and plates, for around $800 landed in australia, but im just going to use the 280zx struts and brakes as they are for now.

jesus. $1200 as starting bid must be good brakes. i need brakes but cant spend that much on them. who needs brakes anyway?

I have a feeling this guy had them on his 120Y that took second outright at the DATNATS this year....he had a for sale sign on them then. They would be a direct bolt on for a 1200 with stanza struts.
That car was very potent too.
You would rune them unboosted like the willwoods i have on my car. I have run a booster and it will lock the fronts at 160kph. Thats pretty incredible stopping power.
