Well thats less i have to worry about, and who really cares how fast your going, (you can just ask your beaten competition after the race). Ok and radiator sounds good, i just dont want to kill the radiator support like ive seen on some swaps. I will post some pics after i take some over christmas, I have some of my partners sedan on here, but my sedan has been hiding away for quite some time now.

The water temp and the oil pressure senders both work on my 1200 coupe dash.
Not sure about the speedo gear though.
I used a radiator out of an 80's honda prelude, they are wide and low and thin and fit well in the front of the 1200 with the outlets on the correct side for the L Series. (It also allows you to run the factory fitted fan)
Have you got any pics of your car?
cheers
Bruce

Ok, in the two weeks ive got off for xmas im looking at dropping an L16 into my 1200 sedan. Ive got a whole stanza to use for parts, L16 with correct sump and reverse above first 5spd. Ive been through all of the information on here and theres lots of great discussion. Couple of questions though;
- will the water temp and oil pressure senders on the L16, work properly with the 1200 coupe dash i have?
- I have heard of a VW Rabbit aluminium radiator being a swap they do in america on there 510's, does anyone know what the hell a Rabbit is here in australia?
- Also will the speedo gear out of the orignal a-series 4spd fit into the stanza 5spd?
And thats all, theres still a million things that i need to do before this car will turn a wheel, but this is the hardest job, then I will be taking it apart again for paint prep
Cheers guys!
