hey all,
i was driving round the other day and saw this sweet 1200 coupe being driven by an elderly couple, it looked absolutely great with its original paint job, it was a cream colour and half way down the car it had a brown streak going through it horizontally with 'datsun' written in the cream... i wish i had the time to chase him down the road and offer him out because it was jsut so damn cool! anyone else seen some cool stocko paint jobs etc??? if anyone has any info or some links i would really appreciate it.. i also enjoy the red blue datsun racing stripes people use, they are sick!

Only 35% of americans got guns ... the vast majority don't own them. Instead I have two Datsun 1200 "weapons", it seems that my stock-looking vehicle defuses road rage.

One source says South Africa has the highest murder-by-firearm rate per capita. So maybe better advise is don't chase down any bakkies? After reading numerous crime report stories where the perpetrator escaped "in an old Nissan bakkie" I would think twice about it ...

That lower body stripe with "Datsun" text is the only stock paint/body job I can think of (dealer option). The red/white/blue rally stripes was never offered on a Datsun 1200.

Funny thing, we don't seem to have a picture of a 1200 with the Datsun stripe.
