Daniel, how about you make a "fellas" forum category that only members who make the yearly donation can access

There are so many frigg'n lurkers on here ...

Make an up to date archives section of photos that get missed when on the photo page?
If i dont log on to the site for say 3 days i always miss photos that have been uploaded and it really shiits me !!

Or is there another way to find them and i just dont know?

I was hoping that someone had asked for a more generic 'ban button'. Or feature where you can take a survey, and if a majority of people in 24 hrs agree to ban for a week. It can be done without admin intervention.

Speaking of getting things deleted. Can we get pointless threads like "three word story" deleted. Reason being is they are pointless, take up bandwidth and obviously now fools want to make comments in these threads to incite more rubbish posts in this forum.
I have said in the past that it might be good to regularly delete sections like Off Topic, Test Section and Classifieds maybe monthy or so. Maybe just leaving threads from the last 2 or so months untouched.
There is also lots of junk threads in the Main Forum but there are also some valuable threads. It would be a big job to weed out the Main Forum junk threads but its also a big move to simply delete complete sections

Either way, things of late have shown lots needs to be cleaned out. Time and Patience being the problem.

Phunk, I think a bit of entertainment such as 3-word story is ok. That sort of thing helps the members to get along. But rubbish posts of people abusing each other is not on.
A moderator or 2 would be ok.....maybe we could have a vote for them

Ahh, now i see.....just read it. Maybe a reason for a reprimand to the poster, but not a reason to stop off-topic/funny/entertaining threads altogether. The solution here is to kindly remind the poster we don't need that crap and delete that post.

But what it all comes down to is that one idiot started all this. Generally we all get along well here without moderators, and all we need is for someone to have the power to ban these people who mess up our place to bring together Datsun lovers.
