Now il give you some details of the project.
The car is gettin new heads and manifold and carby, whole engine will look new with 600HP. Im getting new chrome simmons with 275/40 tyres. Im adding the Californian Body Kit for the back sides, the wing will be straightened and kept. Im getting all new lights and everythin will be re chromed. The car will have a cream interior with autometer gauges for everything. Its got all new brakes/discs and suspension with a 4.40 limited slip diff with independant rear wheel, has a turbo 350 gearbox and a 4800 rpm stall converter and the unis were all replaced with cv's. it will still have the chrome scoop with 3 ext chrome gauges on the bonnet aswell. Every bit n bolt on that car will be new!!! finish time is june 2006 then il show u a real Z!! MY STYLE!!!

Mr240Z, I can see you have a well built car, that has been modified to your taste,and that you have recieved some harsh calls regarding that taste.
I understand many people like the look of the 240Z unmolested as they consider it one of the highwater marks of Datsun styling,I also think that had the car belonged to a member of this site they would have been a bit less vocal in their criticism of the car out of respect to the owner. Its a great car and you should be proud, its a bit over the top for me personally but I have seen 240Zs done with far less good taste than this one,there are some truly hideous examples out there. What I dont get is why you keep posting the same post again and again its not winning you any friends. There are some pretty good guys here who appreciate nice cars and the effort that it takes to build them, you dont need to keep telling them how great your car is or is gonna be, no one like a braggard.

There are alot of good people on this site. People who I consider knowledgible, always willing to help and witty. Which leads me to wonder why every school holidays, without fail, you let bored teenagers bait you. There is an old saying - Never argue with an idiot, first they drag you down to their level and then they beat you with experience. Unfortunately I can't credit the creator of this rather apt saying.
I've just read both topics and feel no better off for the experience which is a rarity on this site. Come January, school will start again and we can get back to more productive discussions. In the mean time can we please just ignore people not worthy of the attention they so desperately crave? Happy New Year to one and all. Regards Matty
