Just a quick heads up for the Sydneysiders, South Australia isnt that far away, its about 18 hours by car or bus and its a pretty nice drive, bus down and drive it home would make a really cool trip.

It's a good idea, however I dont want to try driving a car I have no real idea of how reliable it is across some pretty desolate countryside. Thats why I suggested that the owner, who should trust the reliabilty of the car drives it....
I dont mean it to sound nasty its just I dont wanna be stuck out in the middle of nowhere with no way of getting myself let alone the car to civilisation should it break down.

I wouldnt be too concerned, as there is pleanty of traffic on that road so you would not be stuck. The worst that coud happen is for you to get a lift with someone to the nearest town to get help.

If it helps, TNT Vehicle Logistics have a special on, depot to depot from SA (???) to SYD (Villawood) for $400.00. I am considering another Datto in SA, so I got a quote yesterday (23/03).
Cheers, Sel

BUGGER ME, its a Datsun 1000, they dont make any more reliable cars, if your too scared or incapable to take a Datsun on a long drive you should be getting your mummy to drive you everywhere.
