There's lots of small car/huge engine combos here. How about a 5.0L Trabant

Best small car is a 1200.
Go_the_datto's 2 doored 4 door sedan is a good example. How do you make a 2 doored 4 door sedan? You cut 50cms or so out of the middle of a 1200 4 door and weld the ends back together. And you get this cool small car.

Not exactly big engined but a mate of mine built this Bedford Rascal (same as a Suzuki) with a stock ZZR 1100 lump mounted in the bed behind the cab. Quick but really scary to ride in. It ran 14.01 down the quarter but was too low geared so was in top and flat out at about 90mph by around 2/3 the way down the strip! It sounds mental coming off the line

"Datsun 1000 two door sedan is about the lightest RWD car I know of at 660kg."

try 625kg for the poverty pack like mine, no heater, side mirrors, passenger sun visor, radio or hub caps.

615kg for the ute 1k
625kg for the sedan 1k
both poverty pack specials.

The link to the vid doesnt work?

Flying Feather is one of my top choices for a baby pram great tyres

my preference is a Honda scamp with flares dumped to legal limit and rwd hayabusa 6 speed.

I always had and still want to do that same thing. Get a mini car and put a monster motor. That green ute looks amazing. What I would do differently is put real rubber under it. A car like that with that motor needs serious tires, wider and with substance.
The little van would be great, the engine could be installed in the center.
The smallest competition car I can remember is the Fiat 500. Abarth Fiats still race in Europe. There is RHD versions made for England.

What a great Mini! I imagine he very easily pull a wheelstand with that car, especially with most of the weight in the rear of the car.

Since I have a Datto 1200, I'm removing the A14 out of my Morris Minor Van, and going with a smallblock Chevy V8. I imagine that will be able to do quite a burnout
