ooo now that was a sad sad tale.

I was living in Carrum Downs at the time with my collection of 3 Coupes and that funny GX 4 dr from South Africa.

One of the dirtbags in the house of was living pissed someone of...or something as equally juvenile - the result was a whole bunch of teenage punks came around to my house and completely destroyed the 4dr, my yellow AUTO coupe, and that red shell.

The blue one which was parked in the front yeard managed to survive.

Pretty much every bit of glass and panel work was wrecked....I salvaged some suspension, a dashboard and a couple of bits an pieces. Sadly the ruined shells were committed to a truck that came and picked them up.

It was just too heart breaking to look at them anymore.

I moved out of that place a couple of weeks later with one coupe in tact.

Oh also wrecked was the B310 wagon I picked up, fortunately they didn't destroy the A14 inside it.

I later took my blue coupe down to a workshop in Carrum Downs who were going to help my drop the A14 in.

A couple of days there and someone smashed the windscreen of the blue coupe. I towed it back home a couple of days later, no mechanical work had been done.

Someone hated either me, 1200's or the guy who lived in Carrum Downs.

A sad tale indeed, but it motivated me to buy all my own tools and do all my mechanical work myself. I'm enjoying in now too.

One day again I might build up the 1200 collection again......one day.
