Rarity, in this case, is to some degree dependant on where you are. In Japan, the GX5 is probably very uncommon, but it may not be rare. In the US, the four door sedan & wagon, the ute & van are all rare, or even non existant.
In Portugal, we see lots of two door sedans, but not much of anything else. Maybee the ute was sold there, but coupes seem conspicuously absent.
In Australia, it would seem that enough GX models were sold to allow them to race at Bathurst, but I don't think that any were 5 speed models, & I too have seen a few longbed utes around over the years, but not many. I guess that the two door sedan [less than a dozen?] & the two door van [none?] would rate with the rarest over here.
I have no idea what models were sold in New Zealand.
