what can you safely rev a stock a12 to when you are driving hard? i have a tacho waiting to go in

Factory tach is redlined at 6,500 rpm from memory & the brochure says that max power is developed at 6,000 rpm, but i would keep a stocker down to about 5,000 [or less] for gearshifts because max torque is at 4,000 & you want the revs to drop to something close to this in the next gear.

k heres a question, I also dont have a tacho in my bakkie. its a standard south african spec (A14 5spd)

i can take it in 5th of d clock (past 160km/h). Wat sort of rev will i b holdong der and how long is it safe t stay at dat speed.

Only do it once in a wyl but its nice t kno.
