Hi All,

Not sure if I should have posted here, so please move thread if in the wrong place.

Wanted to introduce myself and my car.

My Father bought this car about 9 years ago from a friend. The friend rescued her from the bottom of a scrapheap! My Father then spent the next few years and a few grand restoring her, including her new paint job. A couple of weeks ago he gave the car to me as he wanted to get another car (Mazda Eunos Cosmo), but did not want this one to leave the family.

Welcome! Now are you going to introduce yourself as well? Is that you in your avatar or is that your girlfriend?

Sorry, got carried away talking about the car. It is me in the picture and I own the car.

My name is Kay and I live in Essex. None of the usual Essex girls jokes please. I have always been interested in cars and have restored an Escort XR3I myself which I had to sell before it was stolen from me. Until last year I had an off road motorbike which I loved riding, they are so much fun. Had to sell it in the end because the land we rode them on was being developed.

I also keep a horse which takes up a lot of my time. Her name is sorrell.

Anyway thats enough about me.Open in new window

Sorry its a UK joke.

Essex girls are blonde, easy and dumb!

I don't appreciate being called an Essex girl as none of this is true about me, other than hair colour PMSL!
