bump


im just about all set for next saturday

im hoping to be in the 15 second bracket and to be able to drive it back home again

should be a fun day out..
it will be my first time on the drag strip so
im looking foreward to it

anyone else gonna join me and mark in the
datsun 1000/1200 parade?

No i thought i had a spare 1400 gear box
4 1000 4 speeds and a 3 speed
my cluch cable is set up for the later gear boxers
I will try starting in 2nd which i will hopfully get more traction

thanks mark i actually emailed the organisers of the event and yeah just a helmet and long sleeves...

no extinguisher needed and dont need to be a club member...


got that 4spd in?

You do not have to be a NDSOC club menber
Helmet ,long sleeve shirt,yes
Maybe a fire extinguisher ?
They where very easy at Heathcote last year
I have never draged a Calder before
I am just going to enter on the day
Not worth going if it is wet

i take it your diff leak is fixed then ange :)
there are a set of slicks on toymods on 14 x 7 supra rims (114.3 stud pattern so ok for datto) for $20 in melbourne if your interested.

had a look at the ndsoc webpage...

does anyone know any furthur details such as requirements to race?

i know you need an approved helmet and long sleeved clothing??

is there anything else needed? do you need to be a member of ndsoc to compete?

thanks for comp speedstar but unfortunately cant take the credit for the burnout ..... it's the now infamous ca18det lagwagon. as for the diff it's a hilux lsd one and now resides in the green ute of ange's. So it'll be gettin another chance this year but behind a rotor and in a ute
as for a shagged stock engine probably a bit over 25secs all depends on how shagged it is

sick burnout boofhead, spinning both wheels have you got a LSD or a weldie?

i would come but i live in the wrong state

any idea what sort of time i would expect from an old and shagged out stock sedan??

gotta investigate and rectify a differential leak... and would like to get some sticky tyres...

but as long as i fix the leak in time ill be there even if its on the g'grids
