I have spent the last 6 hours reading all previous post on L series conversions, lots of good stuff some are just repeats from earlier, and only one person list what oil pan they use, did everyone one use a HL510/A-10 Stanza?

Yes im using HL510/stanza sump, im making the rear section a bit flatter. Also im making another sump to go on later with a trap-door baffle around the pick-up and winged front section because these sumps dont hold much oil at all.

i was considering buying a motor, not sure wich L-series it is(1600), rebuilt with special oil pan for $150. worth it?

Well of course it is, a rebuild kit alone costs 200+, guess it depends on who rebuilt it, what 'special' sump is on it anyway? What would you put the L16 in?

grease, the 4cyl 910 the referred to was never sold here in the states
but the later a10 (called the hl510) and s110 (called the 200sx) used 4cyl naps motors and may even be front sump
i don't know of any other pan available in the states to make your job easier
maybe the 720 truck pan?

Thanks mat that gives me another to look for I have been to every locla wrecker, that I can think of and can not find a hl 510, what year's for the 200sx should I try for
