I'm currently running a turbo charged A15 blow through set up, and am looking at building up another engine to replace the current engine with an unknown history but is currently running 8 PSI boost is running with out problems.
The thing is what pistions can I use and also keep the budget down but still have reliablality and power.
I know I should be using Forged pistions but there out of my budget. I'm looking at running about 12-14 PSI with the new engine that I'm building.
Any help would be most helpful. Thanks Brendon

to save your original pistons put a thicker head gasket on for the time.

If you cant afford forged aluminum pistons, then a step down (and just as good for street cars) are "Hypereutectic" pistons.
these pistons are cast aluminium with a high silicon content giving the piston extra strenght.

You will still need to get these custom made as i dont know of anyone that makes them off the shelf (Tomei???)

perhaps you could post a thread in the classifieds for the pistons youre after, most likely some1 will have something
