I have an extra A14 and an A12 and a 63A 5-spd box. I also have a spare 4 spd that is std in the 1200. (Forgot the model number)
I was in a self-serve wrecking yard the other day and nabbed a dizzy out of a 1980 Sunny. The dizzy has the electronic control mounted on the side of the housing. I picked it up for $22 usd.
I also have a set of 4 14x6 Panasports that work on my 1200 when I drive forward, but they rub like hell if I turn the wheel while in reverse! I'm trying to decide if I want to keep 'em or move them. If I keep them, I have to modify the front fenders a bit.

I suspect that if you use the right size tyre, you will have no problem. Try to keep the overall diameter down to around 560mm & the width down to 185 or 195. For street use this is a good practical dimention. 195/55/14 seems to be somewhere in the ballpark.

Thanks Dodgeman, They have 185/60/r14's on all four. I suspect the offset may not be quite right for a 1200. They were on a 1200 sedan, and you can see where the tires are really scraped up from the previous owner. I have a coupe, don't know if there is a difference in the front fenders or not. I also am using a 5mm spacer to clear the calipers and I want to see if a 3mm will do the job. (Every little bit helps) Apologies to all for the temporary thread hijacking.

Got a few hard to get parts lying around
-63a gearbox -twin hitachis' carbys -T50 gearbox complete with a-series bellhousing -nearly enough parts to make up a second Nismo h165 lsd (if anybody has some side gear I'd like to know) -several oval port heads -3 x a15 cranks -my prized posession at the moment is my newly aquired genuine Nismo high volume oil pump, still can't believe i got one. -most of the good stuff is in the racecar.
