ok, what you are describing sounds like the radiator tubes are restricted, can you see the lower radiator hose sucking down when it starts overflowing?

YIPPEEEE!

Head came off today, corroded head near number 4 cylinder! Coolant was leaking into the bore! So thats where all the coolant was going


As for the coolant splurting out of the radiator, that was the compression from cylinder 4 pushing through the corroded gap back into the cooling system.

Head is being machined, crack tested, faced etc and will be placed back on tomorrow with a new gasket!

I am doing all the work myself, surprising how simple an inexpensive it is. Go the dattos!
