I have 1980 B310 ("Datsun 210") seats in my '71 1200. I didn't modify the 1200 floor.
I hadn't heard that B210 tunnels differed between auto and manual. On the other hand it is a fact for the B110 as photos on this site (and the parts manual) demonstrate. Quote: how many versions of 56a 4 speeds were there? 1. F4W56L, as used in Datsun 1200 2. F4W56L close ratio 3. F4W56L mid-close ratio 2. 1974-up F4W56A, stronger I seem to recall there was a F4W56B as well, but that might be my imagination  I believe there were also front-wheel-drive 56s.
