Yep those settings are from the Sunny W/S Manual - for both the A14 and A15.

A 12 on the top of the head bolts is OK too, hopefully you have one bolt that has a T or something other then 12 on the top - in the centre of the head.

No ####! One of them stataes "12T"! Didnt even realsie, luck for having this discussion! Looks very similar to the other bolts. Im assuming it has different thread so hopefully I will put it in the corrcet spot???

Is there any indication on the head that states where it is meant to go??

Also, can I bolt the head on with the intake and exhaust manifold bolted to the head? Will this effect the torque of the head bolts?

The bolt has a smaller diameter shaft (same thread). If you stuck it into the wrong hole the oil flow would be screwed and you'd end up with a warped head or something.

The threads are all the same.

The manual instructions put the manifold on afterwards. But having them on before will not affect the torque on the head bolts.

Tha manual says it goes into the middle hole on the distributor side.

There is also a special order in which head bolts need to be tightened - if you can find a workshop manual (even in a library) you will get the sequence...if you get real desperate I could scan in the page from the manual...but as I'm a bit lazy might take me a few days to get around to it.

Good

Glad to hear you did it the right way...saves all those annoying warped head problems later.

Did you put the 12T bolt in the No.1 tightening position?
