does the 10a motor bolt straight onto the sunny trans?

I'm dropping a worked 10a into my 69 1000 coupe and want to upgrade the trans at the same time.

Will i need to shorten the drive shaft?

Thanks

If by 10a you mean A10,and if by drive shaft you mean the tailshaft, I think it will be OK.

If its a 10a rotary I dont know about tailshaft length, but you will need the front yoke to fit the mazda gearbox.

I think the input shaft only needs shortening on the 1000 gearbox if you change from the A10 engine.
