21psi isn't standard but. But yeah stocko vs stock the datto would kill it. Stock commo with 304 your looking at 15's maye 14's. Stocko CA in a 1200 will go 13's easy, even high 12's depending on setup.

A member of this site has got himself a time in the 10secs down the quater with a CA18DET and 21psi boost. Should be able to beat just about anything!

Yeah im talking 1/4 mile, the reason im asking cause i was just reading a commo mag and there got Vh commos with 308 running 12sec 1/4 mile passes with 400hp engines. Just got me curious i guess..

A ca18det would munch it to bits! Wild Aseries can beat V8 commodores. The power to wieght doesnt match.

Are you talking about 1/4 mile or around a track.
Either way I would put my money on the Datto. But I'm a little bias.

Hey guys just wondering what would be quicker out a datto 1200 ute with a ca18det or a vs commo ute with a 304 considering both engines are standard. I know it comes down to alot of things suspension setup etc but i would really like to know which one would win?
