BAD310,
Good luck getting the 4 link engineered in QLD, Have you had the design approved by QLD transport yet?? if so i would love to see the application and approval for my own project (save a bit of paperwork).

Engineers in QLD can not approve rear suspension design and a 4 link conversion fits into that category. Once the design is approved by QLD transport the engineer can approve the modification in accordance with the design.

he makes up the leaf springs for the rear which are supposed to work quite well without any tramp......

Here are a couple of shots I got of it before it went in.
The old dirty one is a standard sunny diff, notice a slight difference in size

I got the borg warner diff back today, here is what was done to it.
one axle was resplined
it was shortened, two inches narrower than original (to suit the wheels I have, so I dont need flares)
all the mounting brackets were taken off the original unit and welded onto this one (trailing arms for the four link and coil bases)
All that was $1060, and they supplied the diff. I am going to use the skyline centre until it breaks and then probably go with an LSD, maybe.
Not that you 1200 guys will need to worry, but they also stuff the trailing arms in making the jig so make sure you get some more, but if you go to Aussie Diffs they have a sunny jig made up now, thanks to me.
