Ahh reminds me I was out finding a cheap car for my Dad last month so was looking at early 90's Camrys....anyway went to a few secondhand dealerships in Dandenong - unscrewed the oil cap on the first Camry I saw - all milky inside. Salesman comment "Yeah that's just condensation, car hasn't been started much lately" errrr OK I said "See ya!"
That condensation gets the blame for a lot of things in the 2nd-hand car world, blue exhaust smoke, water in oil - well that's all I can think of. Next best one was a car that had a recently fitted radiator - the overflow tanks for coolant was melted on one side. I asked the owner - looks like the car get very hot recently what happend? Look of mock surprise..."No I've never had any troubles with it?" - That one was in Carrum Downs I guess I should have known better. You can view topic.
