Pay someone with alot of experience. That particular carb is one of the hardest nissan ever made to rebuild right. If you do it, TAKE YOU'RE TIME!!! try to put parts in order.

If it is too high, the problem is the float & valve, nothing very complicated. If it is low, crank the engine for 30 seconds to pump up the fuel level, then check it again. Another problem could be a bad head gasket making it wet inside. Do a compression test: it is simple and easy to do.

ack! i cleaned up the carbie, but now i think i want to just stick the weber dgav on it, i just need an adapter plate for the manifold. anyone have the dimensions or an extra adapter for sale? should i just have it fabricated?
