This site has been great to get info off when converting my engine ( if only I found it before i started)My ute has been off the road (for about 10 months) the project is just about finished.
I have done the sr 20 conversion, many have done CAs, A14, A15 the list goes on
What was the average build times you guys have had when building your 1200.
I suppose it will help others plan their builds,
I set a budget of 7 grand total it has cost me over 10 so I stoped counting.
Lets make it simple ( not to much detail required)
Build Time: 11 months (est eta for on road)
Budget: 7 ( Blown)
Conversion: SR20 n/a 5 speed stumpy
Head aches: the bills, not finding datsun 1200 2 years ago
