re: chassis, look behind the ignition coil, it looks like the stamping for the steering is there, just not cut out. maybe i'm wrong. i've never looked in person, i don't think the later ones are like that. i should looks an my car and see if the firewall seems to have the same stampings on each side. not everything lhd is the same but opposite in rhd, the rhd has cable clutch and probably a different throttle cable setup.

interesting is that some countries (like oz) don't use titles. that would be fun to explain to the d-m-v

so which will be the better thing to do then....import one from another (rhd) country or buy one in the states and convert it....which will be the wiser thing to do and which will be easier??
