Yeah check the mounts
when I had the a14 in my ute both the engine mounts broke at the same time.
the engine twisted it self and jammed its self in tight on the extractors.
I took it to my old mechanic he serviced it charged me a heap and didnt even notice the broken engine mounts (that is why he is my old mechanic)
I knew the mounts were broken and sorced some from the wreckers just incase. wacked em in when I got home Vibration stopped.
also check the uni joints in your tail shaft
although it sounds more like the engine mounts

your engine mounts have probly come loose and your engine or box is touching a part of the car e.g the tunnel and is sending vibration through the whole car. if its not the engine mounts i definetly think something might be loose.get it checked

you may find that the two vibs are caused by different things. the high speed one is most likely something like yourwheel balance or shocks as for your high frequency vibe im unsure, but if it is a high frequency vibe just think what would spin at about 2000 rpm.

hmmm...if its vibrating violently when you aren't moving, then its probably your your engine mounts or possibly everything may just have vibrated loose, you may need a tune up up along with some new bushes.
good luck

hi all,
i drive a B310..

when i start the engine in the morning and it is cold (i take off the auto-choke already),
for 2 minutes or more, it is shaking very hard, and sound like boxer engine.. the sound, hard to drive.

when the engine is warmed up,
it is smooth
but even in idel, or when in low speed,
i can feel vibration (feels like vibration from your mobile phone, but more rough).
i can feel it from the steering, gear knob, even the car not moving.

when travelling around 110kph (speed limit on some road), the vibration is quite large.

yesterday i travelling at 140kph, the whole car vibrate as if it wants to fall apart,
and with a lot of sounds...

anyone knows what cause the problem?
is it somewhere in the clutch assembly?
or engine mounting rubber?

thanks in advnace
