Head gasket???

i am currently building up an A15 supercharged motor for my morris minor ute. i have been looking around every where for a copper head gasket to suit my motor. i was just wondering if anyone knows where i can get one from and a rough priceif able.

i also have a supercharged Aseries.
i got a metal head gasket from my local auto pro shop so i would say repco or any parts dealer should have them.
they are not listed as head gaskets they are listed as metal head shims as you still have to use a standard head gasket with them.

I think he means he wants an actual copper head gaskets. Good for high pressure applictions. Your just talking about a shim(decompression plate). Still using the standard head gasket is the weakness.

Is the engine for the street or track?
Copper head gaskets are great for sealing cylinders when o-rings are used, But they arent best known for sealing in oil and coolant.
Not that much fun if its an everyday car. They do seal but they are prone to leaks.

its for street use. my mate has a copper head gasket on his ford xd falcon which has been on the road for over a year now and he hasnt had any of these problems. do you know where i can purchase one from for an A15??
