hi new guy here. well yesterday i was driving my car (1979 210 a14 4sp) and it was dead so i just pop started it and strated driving to work and hafe way there is just died . i got it home and found that i was not getting any spark . so i repladed the control model. and nothing i need help

No spark?
See if the distributor is turning. Unplug the module, take the cap off and crank the engine. It the rotor doesn't turn, there's your problem. If that's not it, check to see if 12V is getting to the coil when IGN switch in IGN position. It could be many things. Don't give up, let us know more. How did you test the spark?

i replaced the igintion module but i misalined the distridtor. so i fix that and she fired right up so far 100 bucks in a 350 dollar car.Quote:

Glad to hear it is back on the road! I've had many $200 cars and put many miles on them. I guess they are up to $350 now!
