i have 200# springs in the front, it's not rough at all on good roads, but on crappy roads, it's probably too hard, the stock springs were 90#

i've messed with the damper settings, setting 3 out of 6 seems to be pretty good

if you have an L series than you need to offset something in excess of 150# or more in static weight.

B210sleeper - You're right re. the L series. I changed everything after fitting a ca in place of the A14. The heavier motor out front completely changed the dynamics of the car.

As for weight,
L Series engine was 15kg heavier as a complete engine with box carbs etc.
With a heavier diff planned (Corolla KE55 diff) and battery in the boot weight should be pretty evenly distibuted.
