Well there you go, any chances you can get some pics of benny's headlining and cage?

You can stay with the headlining - we did benny's cage with hoodlining in. Check with your authorities but half cage and rego will get more use (and pleasure on a daily basis) than race only....
Don't take no for an answer - there is more than one way to skin a roll cage
Cheers

Cheers mate, its really not that bad now that all the burnt stuff is out the car, inside tops of doors are the worst but should polish up. I just dont know what to do with the headlining, strip it all out and cage it properly? or try and get another stock one and keep it somewhat roadgoing with a half cage?

No good at all whitey........
Don't give up on the rego, I think you are the inspiration for some other prospective L series converts
I hope Benny isn't going to read this - I have just modified the exhaust on his coupe and I would have to leave the country if his interior went up in flames
At least your exhaust guy is upfront and standing by you.
Good luck mate.
Cheers

I havent got any photos when the car still had the burnt interior in it, went straight in the bin, the fumes from it all was incredible. Still stinks.

Im just happy he's gonna knock $250 off the price of the exhaust, or he was going to replace the headlining but i dont want a new modern one. He is a real good guy, so i dont want to make a meal of it, S*it happens!
