I would take the insurance money, sell the long bed( I think they look a bit strange) and look for another decent coupe to swap any good stuff out of the damaged coupe to make the new coupe smik. then sell off anything left over to recoup some money.

OR sell the long bed ( I still think they look a bit stange) buy a normal ute in good nic, then swap the good bits out of the damaged coupe into the ute

OR Keep the coupe, repair it( if possible), sell the long bed( They look strange, I think) and use the money to make the coupe really sweet. The coupe will worth more than a ute in the long run, especially if its smik because their are few of them around.

If I had the choice of a ute or coupe in same condition, I would take the coupe every time, but a T boned coupe or a good ute, thats a different story.

I have a mint longbed 1200 ute(worked) and a one lady owner 1200 coupe. The coupe got t boned the other day, fortunately his insurance is paying for the damage(have the option to sell the wreck and keep the money). My delima lies in that i only have one garage and i live by the coast. From a collectors point of view which car would i be best to concentrate my efforts on?
