firing order for j15 620 manual says 1342 but i have 1243???

Most 4cylinder engines are 1342, does it run with 1234?

yep it does. it purrs during idle but lacks torque in 3rd / 4th gear no miss firing or backfire just slow on pick up??

funny thing it missses & coughs like its should with a mixed up plug settiing ive pulled each plug off 1 by 1 & the moter drops in revs ect so i tried the swap 3&2 but no joy so yer plz help dooffy

Get it TDC on piston 1's compression stroke (valves closed). You might have to look in the oil filler cap or even take the rocker cover off, then make sure the rotor button is pointing at no.1

If its not the dizzy's out somehow.

yep done that .so yer looks like the dizzy to me to but i was told that the firing order is correct for the english model is there such a thing in oz?? sounds strange but??
