#11 Re: Your A series HP output?

Kale,
A14, aftermarket German pistons.
Standard bottom end
Lightened flywheel
Very nice head like Neils set up for velocity and quick throttle response.
The latest Kelford cam grind ( new generation profiles )
Twin 40's
4/1 ectractors
Electronic ignition
Run late last year on the dyno and produced 78.1 kw at the rear wheels @ just over 7000 rpm before dropping away quite sharply for various reasons that are in the process of being remedied.I believe that this equates to 104 hp and I would be confident that if we can keep the power curve linear for another 500 rpm then we should be somewhere between 110/115 at the rears.
Cheers
Dave

If you can make over ( fly wheel ) 100HP Per litre in Na 2 valve motor your doing well . So this means if you have a 1.5ltr x100 = 150hp at the flywheel

I'd love to know what a stock A12 makes with some bolt on's like a header and a single sidedraft. That's what I will likely run in FSP SCCA autocross soon because of the rules and my pocketbook.
