thats exactly right..

bridgeports need a lot of timing even on idle so timing just remains constantly advanced

wow that looks like an awesome set up, I considered doing a rotary conversion but it started looking to hard just how difficult was it to do the conversion? what does the 12A rev to and how heavy are they?
By the way the Ute looks tops

Holy moly I just seen how HUGE that radiator is! that is probably the longest radiator I have seen in a 1200!
I can assume it runs nice and cool now hey?

you wont fit a wider radiator without modifying your inner guards... this ones made to fit i had to shorten the front bumper bar mounting bolts (the 2 closest to the front) so the protruding thread wouldnt foul on the radiator... that gives you an idea how wide it is...

its an aftermarket n14 pulsar radiator (aftermarket in that it has a 30mm core rather than the 16mm core nissan offered)

mik id love a sedan just cant find any at the moment... im keeping my eyes and ears open..

thanks for the comments guys looking foreward to the next melb cruise as the weather improves

edit: just saw your post evan the engine was built by dyson rotary

well the ute went onto the dyno for its initial tune today and it didnt do too badly..

unfortunately its not an exact indication of its maximum power output as it was its first tune after travelling only 450kms and was a conservative tune (if you could call it that)

anyway you can see the power curve is still rising pretty consistently when he let go of the throttle... so still making power but how much more does it have who knows?

it will be dyno tuned once more when its properly run in (around 2000ks or so) so should get more of an indication then..

the blue line is a quick power run before upgrading the jets/chokes etc and tuning

im happy with the result so far... especially considering today was a stinka! 36 or whatever degrees it was... its a heap of fun to drive but traction and axle tramp has become an issue so thats on the list of things to attend to aswell...

just looking foreward to some cruising time this summer
