the Personal Six (Cedric) of the mid sixties used a predecessor of the L series that Nissan inhereted from Prince in their merger, not sure of the designation though. They had both 4cyl and 6cyl variants. The '69 on models were released with L20A in some variants.

the other vehicles I know that the L20A was fitted to were some Nissan Fairlady Z's, C110, C210, and R30 Skylines. I suspect it may have been the engine in an obscure 610 model that was released with a 6cyl L series, but I haven't been able to find much about that car. there were probably other models it was released in as well.

This site is great for bringing old memories back! I recall about 15 odd years ago wrecking what we thought was a 240K, but it had badges on it "2000 GT". This thing had a 2 litre six cylinder in it, the engine was an L20A.

if it's made after July '76 it is...

if it has a Borg Warner 68 Diff (removable back plate) most definitely

however the 1971 model (aussie assembled) Datsun 1200 4 door sedan also has a BW68...

how bad would the l20b throw the handling off? anyone ever tried those things that use water for putting more weight over the drive wheels, could that fix the weight issues, or is it just going to handle like a 2800lb car and be less maneuverable inherently?
