the 120Y is a good thing - better than the 1200 IMO. easy L series swap, wider track, massive wheel arches particularly under the rear of the coupes, much stronger shell and floorpan with heaps of pressed ribbing would make it much more rigid than a 1200, and they're reinforced in all the places the 1200 shells crack - strut towers, coupe C pillar. Theres just one thing - the 1200's have sexier shape!! Hahaha!! I do like 120ys tho. I want a grandma stocker again for my daily driver. Im sick of driving a boat, err, ford everyday!!

No, the 100A lights are much smaller and they are fitted with two screws in the front. These lights are harder to get in Australia than the US lights i think.

hi,
i need some help finding replacement shocks for the front of my '74 120y. the struts are stock but i've put in a set of lowered king springs. i think the shock is bottoming out bad or could it be the spring guide? does any1 know where i can get a pair of replacement shocks with a shorter stroke? any help would be much appreciated cheers

a friend of mine told me how to fix that problem, the Datsun way. You get some thick old washers you can fit in the tube and pop them in.
When I think about it a bit more you probly can't put too many in other wise you wont be able to do up the retaining bit for the shock. Who knows, probly turns out the shocks from a series 1 civic or something would be the go.
